The story of cliff death

There once was a man called Cliff Blake he hunted dragons and other beasts with magical powers and destroyed, them he has only been doing this for about 2 years and still has a lot to learn. He was about 30 years old and in appearance and he is very rough he has scars on his face and other parts of his body, he has dark hair and brown eyes and fair skin and he wears a long dark cape and dark pants with a jumper under it and he wears black boots so he can hide in the shadows and wait’s for his beast to come in to his ambush and do away with them.

Cliff was tracking down a dragon one day he herd around the villages he passed through it’s name was volander and it is at least 200 years old and he to carries scars from other battles as well from humans and other dragons he has done battle within his life time. And his color was flaming red with a white mark on his face like a star on a horse’s forehead, so Cliff knew this was not a normal dragon as this one had a special mark on it.

So Cliff knew it would not be so easy to vanquish this one as the others where younger and not much experienced in fighting.

Cliff found signs of the dragon being here there was foot prints in the ground and buildings that had been burnt to a cinder, so he went into the next valley and found a hiding spot in the rocks so he could see when volander the dragon was coming and to Cliff’s surprised there he was in the middle of the field cleaning him self it looked liked it had just eaten a meal and was quite happy with it’s self and when it had finished it started walking and it was coming in his direction as well.

So Cliff got his sword and shield ready but he was not shore of winning this battle as the dragon was bigger then he thought it would be and in his time as a slayer he has only killed one dragon and a couple of other beasts that was easy and this made him scared a bit. So he also put in his pocket a hand full of dust to blind the dragon temporarily and then he braised him self for battle with the beast of fire so he stood his ground and the dragon came closer and closer and then they sour each other as Cliff came out of his hiding place in the rocks and they met in battle.

Cliff came out with his sword swinging in one hand and the shield on the other and striking the dragon and making him bleed and it gave out a yell in pain and volander the dragon breathed out a big ball of fire and Cliff protected him self by using the shield to hide behind and they yelled at each other saying it is your time to die.

The battle raged on and on until it was getting late and Cliff was getting tired and the dragon could see this so he took a chance and twirled around and hit him with its tail and sending Cliff flying through the air and he landed on a pile of hay unconscious and bleeding.

The dragon sore where he landed and inhaled air until his lungs where full and then he gave the biggest exhale of fire and the hay turned into a ball of flame and Cliff was burnt alive and the dragon said “this is all you humans are good for, you serve no purpose on this planet and in life and I wish you all would die”.

But in the end volander was not happy as he knew there would be more people coming to try to kill him and all he wanted was to live out his life happily but he new as long as there is humans on the planet that will never happen as what ever they are frightened of they kill instead of finding out what we are really like. Oh well maybe one day a friendship will start between us and the human’s that will end all of the killing between us and we can live out our lives in peace. But maybe that is just me dreaming of a life that will never ever happen.
