lindy life part 1

Lindy was 7yrs old and her brother Sam was 11 yrs old, they had a normal brother and sister fight’s but at the end of the day they got along really well and loved each other very much they hanged out with Sam’s friend and they fished, ride on the Billy carts and Sam and his mate’s even tried to teach Lindy how to ride a bike but she could never get the hang of it. They had a sister called Jade and she had a boy friend called Mick.

Mick only liked boys he had no time for girls and did not think any good of them he only like boy’s so he treated Sam really good. They also had two other sisters Jane and Sybol, Jane was wonderful Lindy and Sam loved her so much they would break there necks to go and see her. But Sybol they never worried about seeing her as if there was nothing you could do for her, she did not want to see you. Lindy, Same and jade lived with there mum in a old weather board house with some pets like chicken’s and rabbits, cat, snakes and some bantams etc….

Lindy’s sister Jade and her boy friend Mick decided to take Lindy for a drive one day in the country side and they stopped at the side of the road. At the edge there was a cliff straight down the side of the hill. They decided to have some fun at her expense they reversed the car back as far as they could and then said to her “we will stop as soon as you say pretty please with a cherry on top”, and then Mick accelerated off very fast and he drove towards the cliffs edge very fast and Lindy said “pretty please with a cherry on top”, and he stopped like only three feet from the edge.

They did this for about another four more times in all to her they where laughing and giggling about it, how it was so much fun for them but Lindy was very frightened and up set and worried and she wanted to go home after the forth time and they did decide to take her home then.

This day Lindy decided to stay home and let Sam go out with his friends, so Lindy helped her mum for a while then she went out side to spend some time alone, she sat under this big old tree that was in there yard and just think about every that had been going on in her life she was so happy and laughing about the things she had done with Sam and his friends. But she started thinking of every thing else that has been going on with her sister Jade and how hurt and sad and un loved , she started to believe that only Sam loved her as not even her mum showed her love no hugs or kiss or even saying I love you and she started to think whether her mum was just pretending to love her as much as her sister Jade which was not much at, all she felt so alone in the world her sister Jane showed her love and that she was wanted just like Sam did so Lindy came to decided that they are the only two people in the world that loved and wanted her so she started to not worry about what her mum said or anyone else . She decided that this will be her life from now on never asked what she thought or wanted but just taken along in life like a sack of potato’s from pillow to post ,so she just gave up even trying to change things.

On another day jade and Mick to her swimming during summer. When they got there they said “do not go out to the mud banks as it is too dangerous for you at your age and if you get in trouble something bad could happen to you” so she agreed.

Lindy was splashing around in the shallow part of the water having fun then jade and Mick came over to her and Mick put her on his shoulders and she loved that very much they walked over to the mangroves and the water was up to his waste and the smell of the mangroves was terrible. Then all of a sudden Mick toster she off his shoulders into the water and she could not swim so she started to drown. Her sister jade put her hand in the water and grabbed a hand full of her hair and dragged her along under the water then she pulled lindy up out of the water.

She was coughing and spluttering and trying to catch her breath they just laught about it again and said “don’t be a woos it is only fun”, when she got home Lindy told her mum what happened and they got into trouble for what they had done to her.

Jade was still living at home with the family and she always made Lindy and Sam’s life hell, what she did in the way of picking on then and hurting both of them and making her siblings do her chores around the house as well as there own. So one day Lindy went up to Jade and asked her “why she does this” and Jade said “she did love us and she was only having fun” so lindy told her it hurts us both she only laugh about it.

So Lindy made a deal with Jade if she left my brother Sam alone I would do what ever she wonted so jade agreed, this went on for about a week and her mum could see how unhappy Lindy was but Sam had a smile on his face so Lindy thought it was worth it.

The mother asked Lindy one day why are you doing things for Jade, so she told her mum what had been going on and the deal she made with her sister and why. Lindy’s mum was extremely angry with Jade she stormed out of the house and blasted strips of Jade for what she had done and for using her sister as a slave, so Jade left the kids alone for a while.

On another day Sam took Lindy swimming at a local creak, it was so much fun she wished it would not end and the same day we would just stay home and have fun and some times we would fight just like sister and brothers do but they always liked each after heaps. One day mum went into hospital to have an operation and she would be in there for about a week as she had to have a hysterectomy.

So Jade was put in charge until she came home again from hospital and my self and Sam did not like it at all we had some pets and there cage

S got cleaned out once a day as they were messy but oh no Jade was not satisfied with that, she made us do it twice a day and all of our other chores and she’s as well go to school. Well it ended up Lindy got sick she had chicken pox and she had a bad dose of them as well she had swelling around her gaur and it was like that for a few days, when her mum came home she only could see Jade and Sam she new from the look on Sam’s face she had been giving us a hard time so Jade got into more trouble over it.

Then mum asked “where is Lindy” and Sam told her she was in bed sick and has been for about 4 days. so mum came in and when she sore Lindy she hit the rood in anger and asked why the doctor was not called in to her , but jade did not answer her so mum sent Sam up to there sister Jane to ring the doctor to come down to see Lindy as it was quit urgent. The doctor was there in about one hour’s time and he was not happy with what he could see and the doctor said “she would have to stay in bed for about a week”.

He came in to see her every second day in about another week’s time he said “she could get out of bed now and start doing things” lindy was so happy to get out of that bed finally.

Jade got in to so much trouble for mum and the doctor she stayed away for a few days she stayed at Mick’s place for a while and that made her and Sam very happy indeed to have some freedom from her even though it was only for a few day’s but it was better then nothing at all. On another day Lindy’s mum told her they were going to have a party for Jade and as she was getting engaged to Mick well she was happy about the party but not having both of them here at home. Well the party day was here it was a good party there where no fights and Jade and Mick behaved them selves very well.

Well about a week had passed form when they had the party and mum and Jade had a big fight and Jade decided to more out of home and go live with Mick that made me and Sam feel really happy and after she moved out, life was wonderful not being picked on or hurt or even ordered around any more but on the other hand she had just lost her sister and even after all the thing that had happened you still liked her sister and would miss her a little.
